When Aperion Audio began developing the Theatrus series five years ago, we focused on a key challenge: how to create thinner, more compact speakers while maintaining excellent sound quality. Our goal was to make the Theatrus speakers versatile for various applications and to enhance their ability to blend seamlessly into different environments. Our primary objective was to engineer slimmer speakers capable of delivering exceptional sound quality. Additionally, we emphasized the importance of aesthetic appeal, ensuring that the Theatrus T80SL On-Wall Speaker could effectively blend into their surroundings for improved concealment, all while providing an immersive audio experience that meets the diverse needs of our customers.

Since the launch of the current Theatrus models, they have received widespread acclaim from users. However, our end users and distributors have expressed additional expectations during actual use, mainly when dealing with narrow spaces.

We are delighted to introduce the new Theatrus T80SL On-Wall Speaker. These speakers can blend into your home theater, making them almost invisible. They provide fantastic movie sound without any distractions.  

The Theatrus T80SL On-Wall Speaker is ideal for front left, right, and center, as well as surround, but can be used in any position in the home theater system for a detailed and immersive sound stage.

Dual 2" Soft-dome Midrange Driver

Our high end soft-dome midrange unit features a large, low distortion 50mm voice coil, which exceeds the normal size of this type of drive unit. It's wide pole structure and special damping coating significantly reduce the medium frequency segmentation vibration. This midrange driver is commonly used in high-end monitors and audiophile speakers and is renowned for its unique design and exceptional sound quality. It provides excellent off-axis response and low distortion, delivering a warm, whole midrange tone. Additionally, it enhances sound diffusion and directivity, ensuring even distribution and reducing standing waves and reflections for a more natural listening experience.

 

Dual 8" Curv Woofers

The Theatrus T80SL features a new Curv material from Germany Propex Fabrics. The properties of this new Curv material are lightweight, yet rigid and stiff, maintain a high temperature resistance without any water absorption, and the most important in crating a driver unit - this material has a high Young's Modulus and internal damping.

 

Sound Adjustment

The new Theatrus Speakers adapts to various arrangements and positions with adjustments for Baffle-Wall (In-Wall) or Free-Field (On-Wall). Along with the bass adjustment, we also included a high frequency adjustment to compensate the high frequency when the speakers are placed behind a projection screen.

 

5-Way gold-plated binding posts

The 5-way gold-plated binding posts let you connect your speakers any which way you choose: bare wire, banana plugs, spades, round pins or flat pins.

 

Custom tuned cabinet

Theatrus drivers come packed in a Stealth Black MDF Anti Resonant Cabinet. The stealth black cabinet has a finish that does not reflect light, making it perfect for a private cinema. It is very durable and built to last a long time. It also resists fingerprints and is easy to clean and maintain.

 

Sealed slim cabinet design

One of the key steps in achieving sound quality is to contain the sound from the speakers to your room, as opposed to your wall. Theatrus On-wall speakers use a sealed box enclosure.

 

Easy mount and install

The Theatrus T80SL features mounting holes on the back and includes a dedicated wall bracket, making installation quick and easy.

 

Rotatable Easy-Pull Spring-Loaded Logo

Theatrus speakers can be placed On-wall, In-wall, on the ground or on the ceiling, the Theatrus line can effectively cover most of the listening area. The speaker can be arranged vertically or horizontally, dependent on the application.

 

Lightweight magnetic grille

To protect the speaker's drivers from accidents, pets or curious fingers, the entire Theatrus line sports a lightweight magnetic grille which can easily be removed when you want to show off your beautiful speakers to friends and family.
