The T8C features an open two-way design without a cabinet, showcasing a coaxially arranged tweeter and woofer at the front, while the rear houses a crossover circuit and binding posts, presenting a simple yet elegant configuration. It incorporates an AMT Ribbon tweeter alongside a 203 mm (8 inches) long-stroke mid-woofer constructed from Curv Cone composite material, which is both lightweight and durable. 8" Long-Throw Curv® Cone Woofer

Quality sound is rooted in superior drivers. The Theatrus line incorporates an innovative Curv material developed by the German firm, Propex Fabrics. This advanced Curv material is not only lightweight but also exhibits remarkable rigidity and strength, along with exceptional durability and resistance to temperature and moisture. Notably, it possesses a high Young's Modulus and excellent internal damping properties. The collaboration between the woofer and tweeter ensures the delivery of outstanding integrated sound details, boasting a frequency response range of 36Hz to 35kHz

Durable Aluminum Frame

T8C uses a high-quality all-aluminum frame, which is flame-retardant and adaptable, waterproof, moisture-proof, and beautiful, making it suitable for use in more extreme environments.

Advanced Crossover

Time-intensive iterative designing and fine-tuning of the crossover networks have resulted in a smoother, more neutral, and better-balanced frequency response across the whole range. Enhanced phase integration between the tweeter and midrange drivers has also resulted in a cleaner, more open sound in the transition regions. The Theatrus employs superior customized components, which include high-quality thin film capacitors to provide minimum dielectric loss, customized Aperion internal wiring with spade connectors to make upgrading a breeze, and we even went as far as customizing the PCB board with an Aperion red color to represent our love of great sounding audio!

+/- 2 dB Treble Equalization Jumper

Always get the most out of your speakers -- without compromise! The initial position is given at 0 db. The +/- 2 dB treble equalization jumper allows you to adjust the sound to your preference no matter what kind of installation challenges you face.

-5 dB Midrange Equalization Jumper

The Theatrus T8C In-Ceiling speakers feature a jumper for adjusting midrange frequencies, specifically within the range of 100-200 Hz, by -5 dB. Should you find the human voice to be excessively full, you have the option to insert the jumper into the -5 dB setting, which will effectively lower the midrange frequencies in that spectrum.

Gold Plated, Spring Loaded Binding Posts

A perfect connection the first time and every time, with ease! Each in-ceiling speaker comes standard with gold-plated spring-loaded binding posts for easy installation. Simply strip the speaker wire, press to open and insert the wire.

Paintable Magnetic Grille

Paint your in-ceiling speaker grill any color you wish to match your décor! A perforated,  aluminum grille is included with each speaker. We've designed all of our in-wall and in-ceiling speakers to be a permanent part of your home.

In-Ceiling Mounting System

Installing your speakers has never been easier. All of our in-ceiling speakers come with an installation template and a dog ear clip drywall mounting system. Simply use the template to cut the proper hole, hook up the wires, insert the speaker, and tighten it into place with the doglegs. All that’s left is to sit back, relax and enjoy.
